Date Formats

When creating a new field with a field type of Date Format, you need to select the date format type from the Format drop-down.

The table below describes each format type.

Please note that in the Format column:

A slash (/) or dash (-) represents the separator character. When the document is generated in Studio, this slash or dash will be replaced by the character you have selected using the Separator drop-down list. The separator can be a slash, comma, dash, period, or space. You can also choose to have no separator.
YY represents the year, which can be 2 or 4 digits depending on Year Size setting; in the examples below, the Year Size is assumed to be 4. Yr and YYYY represent a 4 digit year, regardless of the Year Size setting.
b applies only to days and months that can be represented as a single digit.Specifically, b represents a blank space that will appear for a single-digit day (the 1st to the 9th of any month) or for a single-digit month (January through to September, which are months 1 to 9). b does not apply to two-digit days (the 10th to the 31st) or to two-digit months (October to December).
