VB2EPS

Use this utility to convert Metacode files in variable block (VB) format into EPS (Enterprise Printing System) format so you can then print the files on a Xerox EPS printer via a TCP/IP connection.

Note

Documerge (VB) format is not a print-ready format. Documerge format Metacode is usually used as an input into Documerge/Docuflex. If you want to print a Documerge format Metacode file, you must convert it into another format.

Syntax

VB2EPS /I /O

Parameter	Description
/I	Enter the input Metacode file name. This file will be in variable block format.
/O	Enter the name you want the utility to assign to the output Metacode file. This file will be in EPS format.

Determining the format

If you are unsure of the format of a print stream, use Studio’s Printstream Analyzer to determine the format. First, open the print stream in the Printstream Analyzer, then click the Properties button to see an analysis of the print stream. Included in the analysis is format information. Here are some examples:
