Description

Enables the account lockout mechanism. If this attribute is set to on, users are locked out of the directory once the maximum number of consecutive failed bind attempts has been reached. The maximum number of consecutive bind attempts is specified by the passwordMaxFailure attribute. Users remain locked out for the length of time specified by the passwordLockoutDuration attribute.

This attribute may be on or off. The default value is off.
