Enable RESTful Management Services

Before you begin

RESTful Management Services enable representational state transfer (REST) clients to monitor WebLogic Server domains through the RESTful Management Services Web application. By default, RESTful Management Services are disabled.

To enable RESTful Management Services:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the left pane of the Console, under Domain Structure, select the domain name.
  3. Select Configuration > General, and then click Advanced at the bottom of the page.
  4. Select the Enable RESTful Management Services check box.
  5. Click Save.
  6. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).

After you finish

Restart the server to process the change. Then open another Web browser instance and enter the appropriate URL for the desired response data type output. For more information, see Using RESTful Management Services With Oracle WebLogic Server.
