Oracle Configuration Manager (OCM) is used to collect client configuration information and upload it to the Oracle repository. When client configuration data is uploaded on a regular basis, customer support representatives can analyze this data and provide better service to the customers.
Note:
For this release of OCM, some of the documentation, which was previously available as separate documents, has been consolidated. Specifically, the contents of the OCM Security Overview, Support Policy, Connectivity Test, and Pre-requisites documents are now part of the OCM Installation and Administration Guide.
No changes were required for the Support Hub Guide for this release of OCM. You can continue to use Oracle Support Hub 10.3.8 with this release of OCM.
This document provides instructions on installing and configuring Oracle Configuration Manager (OCM), and uploading product configurations for use by configuration management capabilities of My Oracle Support.
