Defining Project Dependencies using Project Properties

Before upgrading Design Studio projects to version 7.2 and later, you must define all project dependencies that the source project references. In all Design Studio versions prior to version 7.2, you define project dependencies on the Project References page.

Note:

See "Managing Project Dependencies" for information about defining project references in Design Studio 7.2 and later.

To define project references using project properties:

  1. From the Studio menu, select Show Design Perspective.

  2. Click the Studio Projects tab.

  3. In the Studio Projects view, right-click a project.

    The context menu appears.

  4. Select Properties.

    The Properties dialog box appears.

  5. In the left-column menu tree, select Project References.

A list of all projects defined in the workspace appears.

  6. Select all dependent projects that the source project references.

  7. Click OK.
