Designing Conceptual Models

To design a conceptual model, you:

  1. Create the conceptual model entities.

    See "Creating Conceptual Model Entities" for more information.

  2. Configure the conceptual model entities.

    See "Configuring Conceptual Model Entities" for more information.

  3. (Optional) Create functional areas.

    You create new functional ares if you are not using the data delivered in the Common Model Base Data project or if you want to create action types in addition to those delivered with Design Studio. See "Creating Functional Areas" for more information.

  4. Create the actions associated with the conceptual model entities.

  5. Configure the actions associated with the conceptual model entities.
