data set (Studio)

A set of data from a single source, such as an uploaded file, a Studio data source, or an Endeca Server connection.

Each Studio application can contain one or more data sets. Users can then create views that reference attributes from one or more of the application data sets.

The data sets are contained within the Endeca Server domain for the application.

In Endeca Server, data sets are referred to as collections.
