This image shows two processes: the process for creating the credit alert, and the process for updating the collection status.

The process for creating the credit alert begins when a customer enters or exits collections, and BRM executes the collection process. A BRM administrator publishes the collection event to AIA. AIA invokes the web service call to the ODI layer, and the ODI layer enriches and transforms the collections data before Siebel CRM receives it in the target Siebel EIM tables and creates a credit alert.

The process for updating the collection status begins when a cusomter service representative updates customer's status to 'Closed' and synchronizes the status to AIA. AIA makes a one-way web service call to update the Sync Collection Action Status and invokes the BRM opcode to synchronize and update the status in BRM.
