The figure shows how the A I A service-oriented architecture passes requests from one application, such as Siebel C R M, to another application, such as O S M or B R M.

The first application drops a message into a queue. A requester service receives the message, translates it into an E B M, and passes it on to a second requester. The second requester translates the E B M into an A B M, and passes the message on to the second application's queue.
