This figure shows how batch updates to billing products and billing discounts are synchronized with Siebel.

The B R M administrator disables real-time product sync, then updates the billing products and billing discounts, commits the updates and runs the batch utility which synchronizes with Siebel.

The Siebel administrator uses the updated billing products and discounts to create or updates service bundles, create or update promotions, and can add or update penalties products to the promotion.

The customer can then purchase or upgrade to the new promotion.
