Setting Phase Due Dates

The phases of a particular project are determined by the roadmap chosen for the project. Each phase has a time duration and a due date for the phase is automatically assigned by the system. Sometimes it may be necessary to change the due date of a phase.
This is done from the Project Dates page.

1. Within a particular project, click the Dates link in the Left Navigation Bar, or from the Project Module Menu (Project #) select Go To > Dates.
2. From the Edit menu select Project Dates.
3. Locate the Start Dates and Due/Completion Dates within the Phase section. Make the necessary changes to the date. You can type in the dates or use the calendar. Place your cursor on the next to the appropriate fields for additional information about other dates that may impact your phase due date. You can click on this image to populate the field with the date suggested by the system.
4. You may also need to modify the Current planned Due/Closure Date for the project since all phase due dates have to be before the project due date.  
5. Click Save to save your changes.

   Note: A phase’s due date must not be later than the project’s Planned Due/Closure Date (or Planned Project Close Date)
