Initial system configuration is conducted after powering it on for the first time and establishing a connection, as documented in Installation.

Note -  Note that the option to perform initial configuration of a cluster is only available in the BUI. If electing this option, read Chapter 10, Cluster Configuration before beginning initial configuration for detailed additional steps that are required for successful cluster setup. Pay careful attention to the Clustering Considerations for Networking section. Alternatively, cluster-capable appliances may be initially configured for standalone operation using the following procedure, and re-configured for cluster operation at a later time.
