CATALOGMANAGER.setversions

Sets the number of revisions stored for each row in a tracked table using the CATALOGMANAGER command.

Syntax

<CATALOGMANAGER>
   <ARGUMENT NAME="ftcmd" VALUE="setversions" />
   <ARGUMENT NAME="tablename" VALUE="table" />
   <ARGUMENT NAME="numversions" VALUE="number"/>
</CATALOGMANAGER>   

Parameters

ftcmd (required)

Value must be set to setversions.

tablename (required)

Name of the tracked table.

numversions (required)

Number of revisions to be stored for each row in a tracked table.

Description

The setversions command sets the number of revisions stored for each row in a tracked table. The current user must have rtadmin privileges on the table.

Error Numbers

The possible values of errno include:

Value	Description
-103	No such table.
-104	No table definition.
-105	Database error.

Example

This example sets the maximum number of revisions for rows in the movies table to 8.
