This graphic displays an overview of the Contributor interface and includes descriptions of the interface's key features, such as the navigation pane, menu bar, "Search" field, and your dashboard. The menu bar contains the Content, Edit, and View options. The Content option enables you to create assets, save, approve for publishing, bookmark, share assets with different sites, and change the permissions of an asset. The Edit option enables you to inspect, modify, copy, and delete assets, work with revision tracking, and change the layout (template) assigned to an asset. The View option enables you to preview assets, view an asset's status summary, and toggle between Form Mode and Web Mode. The menu bar also contains the down-arrow icon which allows you to open the applications bar. Search functions are located directly below the menu bar which you use to enter your search criteria. The main area of the Contributor interface is where your dashboard/workspace is located. The Home tab is permanently displayed and contains your dashboard which allows you to view and work with the items in your dashboard such as Saved Searches, bookmarked assets, assignments, and assets that are checked out to you. When you work with an asset in either Form Mode or Web Mode, WebCenter Sites opens a new tab (over the Home tab) for each asset you select to work with. The navigation pane is located to the left of the dashboard/workspace and allows you to access assets via the Site Tree, Content Tree, and My Work tree.
