This figure shows how protecting an application resource has the effect of protecting access to all WebLogic resources within that application, such as the EJB, JDBC, and web application resources that are part of that application. For example, if the application resource is protected by the scoped role SpecialUser1 and the scoped policy "Allow access to roles SpecialUser1 and global role Admin," the WebLogic resources that are part of that application are automatically protected by the same policies.
