Creating a Documaker Document Based on an Existing Documaker Document

You can create a new Documaker document based on an existing Documaker document. The new document will inherit the Documaker properties of the existing document.

Note All sections and paragraphs in the new document will have the Replace section... or Replace paragraph... option selected, to prevent these elements from importing into Studio. However, you can clear this option.

To create a new Documaker document based on an existing Documaker document

  1. Open an existing Documaker document.
  2. From the Documaker tab, select Create Documaker Document, Based On...

The Document Properties dialog opens and contains the Documaker properties of the existing Documaker document.

  1. Complete the Document Properties dialog.
