Downloading a Workspace Definition File

To change or update a workspace definition file (WDF) that has been generated by the Docupresentment Web Service, you can download an updated workspace definition file.

To download a workspace definition file

  1. In the Tools group, select Workspaces.
  2. In the Manage Workspace Definition Files dialog, click the download button download WDF.

Alternatively, right-click anywhere in the table, then select Download.

  1. Complete the Download Workspace Definition File dialog.

From this dialog, you can select a workspace definition file. The default path and workspace definition filename are:

C:\FAP\Word Add-In\Shared\workspace name.xml

For example:

C:\FAP\Word Add-In\Shared\ABC_Company.xml

  1. To download the file, click Download.
  2. If the download fails, verify your settings in the Download Workspace Definition File dialog, make any necessary changes, then click Download again. If necessary, contact your system administrator or project manager for help.
