The Insert Task Panes

You use the Insert task panes to:

• Insert a field, trigger or graphic resource into a Documaker document, at which point it becomes an element in the document
• Add, edit, and delete local resources

There are three types of Insert task panes: Insert Field, Insert Trigger, and Insert Graphic.

The corresponding Insert task pane opens when you click Field, Trigger, or Graphic from the Insert group.

This Insert task pane is displayed on the right side of a Documaker document.

Local resources (resources that you have created), as well as resources from a workspace definition file (WDF), are listed in this pane. However, you can edit only local resources.

If a local resource has the same name as a resource in the WDF, then only the WDF resource is displayed. Resource names are not case-sensitive.

Notes

• To toggle the display of the Insert task pane, click the Field, Trigger or Graphic button.
• You can resize and undock a task pane.
