Searching for an Element or Resource

From the Insert task pane, the Manage Resource dialog, or the Element Tree, you can search for an element or resource by its name or description.

To search for an element or resource by name or description

1. Enter one or more characters in the Find field.

The first element or resource with matching characters in its name or description is highlighted.

You can also use an asterisk * as a wild-card search character, for example:

• abc* will find the first item that begins with abc
• *abc will find the first item that ends with abc
• abc will find the first item that contains abc

2. Click the Find button to highlight the next matching element or resource.
