Batch

A batch is a classification or group of recipients that share common publication requirements.

Publication requirements can include the:

• publication or print type – for example, PDF, Metacode
• recipient type
• sort order – for example, by Zip Code

There are two types of batches: immediate and scheduled.

• An immediate batch has one publication per recipient.
• A scheduled batch has one publication or print stream containing documents with multiple recipients.
