When a new version of an ICD is approved, you can upload the new version on the ICD Management page. After a new version is uploaded, the version number changes. If you load an updated ICD into the application, all the patients must sign the new ICD at their next logins. For more information, see Viewing and printing an ICD.
When a patient logs in, the application checks to see if the ICD version that he or she signed has changed. If so, the latest version of the ICD appears and the patient must provide his or her signature under the following circumstances:
The latest version of the ICD is time stamped to prove that the patient viewed the new ICD when the ICD is informational only.
