A candidate query is a manual query issued by and visible only to a sponsor user who has the appropriate rights, typically the clinical data manager or medical monitor.
Roadmap for candidate queries
Step | Action | Procedure |
---|---|---|
1 | While reviewing a visit or form, a data reviewer might want input from other data managers or monitors before issuing a query. |
2 | You issue a query at the patient, visit, form, or item level. |
3 | In the dialog box, you identify the query as a candidate query and choose the reason for the query. |
4 | Another sponsor user reviews the candidate query and either reissues it as an open query or deletes it. |
Note: If an open query is answered, you can reissue it as a candidate query if additional review is required to approve it or identify if another query is required.
