Customer comments

Fluid user interface

We deployed the fluid interface in 2016. All self service employees and managers use tiles (Navigation Collections) to navigate. For admins we deployed delivered work centers and created new tiles using navigation collection to do 90% of their daily activities. Entire employee population has embraced the new UI whole heartedly. We have received numerous kudos on its ease of use.

Selective Adoption

We were one of the early adopters of this new process. We developed a Strategy early on and shared that with many Oracle customers, such as Sonoma County, San Joaquin County, AC Transit, City of Las Vegas, City of Spokane, Merced County, etc.

Our approach is to be current on latest tools and latest PUM every 2 years. In the interim we take all compliance items, fixes related to the bugs, issues we have in production and new features we want to implement from the PUM images.

Elasticsearch

We currently use search for portal content. We will be deploying data search in the next 1 year.

Eliminating customizations

We love the new Page and Field Configurator and Event Mapping, which has helped us eliminate some existing customizations and avoid several new customizations. Our objective is to eliminate 50% of our existing customizations in the next two years.

We have a very mature PeopleSoft HRMS and Financial footprint. We are proud to boast what we have done well and share our positive experience with other customers. We have presented on FLUID and Selective Adoption on many occasions at OpenWorld, Collaborate, Reconnect, Alliance and as well as local user group meetings.
