Customer comments

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center used to have a heavily customized PeopleSoft environment (HCM and FSCM). When we upgraded to release 9.2 (FSCM in 2014, HCM in 2016), we drastically reduced our level of customization and refactored any remaining mods to be far less intrusive so that we could more readily consume new features as they were released. When we upgraded HCM to 9.2 we deployed the Fluid UI - and it was a huge hit with our users! Casual users loved the look of the tiles on their Employee Self Service homepage, and power users loved the Fluid Navigation Collections we created to help them efficiently perform their tasks. To find infrequently accessed pages, we cloned a delivered utility (Portal Navigation Path) and pinned a custom tile to the NavBar to let users search for menu items by portal label.

Fast forward and we've since implemented Manager Self Service (delivered and custom transactions), homepage personalization, pivot charts/grids with KPI and actionable analytics, and more! Users love when we announce that new tiles are available to add to their homepages and dashboards.

All of this is made possible by the amazing delivered tools and frameworks that we have consumed through Tools upgrades and Selective Adoption. We love Tile Wizard, Pivot Grid Wizard, Related Content Services (especially event mapping!), Page and Field Configurator, Branding (so easy with macro sets!), and more.
