University of Tasmania, in conjunction with their partner Presence of IT, used Selective Adoption to deploy Recruiting Solutions, ePerformance, and Fluid user interface capabilities in Recruiting, Time and Labor, and Payroll, as well as creating custom Fluid Tiles to access cheat sheets and FAQs, all with a lean investment in change management resulting in a positive and simplified user experience.

University of Tasmania (UTAS) is a new customer to PeopleSoft HCM which went live in the Cloud on 9.2/8.54 in 2016 - HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management and Self Service, and ePerformance Management.

In Phase 2 in October 2017, they deployed a major update to PeopleSoft Update Image HCM 22 and PT8.55 where a large amount of features were deployed in 4 months with a very small project team. Key requirement was Fluid UI, casual timesheet and casual recruiting solution improvements in addition to some pays slip changes. They also used Fluid tiles to access cheat sheets and FAQs, including a reporting tile to access HR/BI warehouse reports.

In Feb 2018, changes to the ePerformance Management templates delivered improvements to how Academic and Professional positions are measured. The client achieved some great results with these changes and adopted a large number of features to support an organization of 7000 employees.

Customer satisfaction level is overall promising. The project was delivered on budget and on time.

Next installment is two rounds of Selective Adoption per Year and automated testing via PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF).
