Sharing BI Content

You can share BI content by tapping the Menu icon in the action bar. You can also beam BI content from one mobile device to another.

Sharing BI Content Using Email, SMS, and Other External Applications

While viewing BI content, tap the Menu icon in the action bar, then tap Share. The Android operating system provides various sharing options, including email and SMS.

When you tap the Email option, your email application is launched. To return to Oracle BI Mobile from the email application, tap the Back button in your device's bottom navigation bar.

Beaming BI Content with Near Field Communication

You can share BI content using near field communication (NFC).

To share BI content with NFC, hold two Android devices back to back.

Note:

The target device must have a connection set up to the same server as yours, and must have access privileges to the BI content you are sharing. Also, make sure that NFC is supported and enabled on the target device.

To beam BI content from one mobile device to another:

1. Open the catalog object you want to share.
2. While the catalog object is open, place the second mobile device back to back with the one on which you are viewing the BI content.
3. When the BI content reduces to a thumbnail image on your first device, tap the thumbnail image.
4. Watch the second device as the BI content pops up on the screen.
