Description. Settle the window to which Apartment Style Billing cycle charges are posted during the End of Day or upon Check In to Direct Bill.

Internal Name. ASB_AUTO_SETTLEMENT

Property Determination. Activation of this application parameter will automatically settle all of the ASB postings attached to the reservation, and any other posting included in the Billing Window where the ASB posting are located, right after they are posted during the End of Day routine or right when the guest checks in for their reservation. But in order for this sequence to occur, the following conditions must be met:

• A valid AR Account must exist for the profile that is attached to the Billing Window where the ASB posting are located.
• A Direct Bill payment type must be attached to the Billing Window.
• The Cashiering>Authorize Direct Bill application function must be set to Y and the reservation itself must be authorized for Direct Bill.
• A Printer Task for folio printing is configured. If a printer task is not configured, then a message will be displayed to notify the user and the check in cannot be completed.

If these conditions are not met, then the guest's reservation cannot be checked in.

Activation / Inactivation Rules.

Activation of this application parameter will automatically set the Cashiering>Auto Folio Settlement application function to Y.
