Credit Card Payment Setup

(Americas Region Only) A significant feature of your OPERA system which will be installed at your property, is the credit card interface. With this interface, credit card authorization is handled automatically at the time of check-in. Additionally, credit card payments are easily transmitted to your bank electronically on a daily basis.

To ensure that the credit card interface is fully functional at the time your property converts requires specific banking information.

A representative from MerchantLink will be contacting your property to verify your bank information and credit card processor.  MerchantLink must receive all necessary information; in a minimum of three weeks prior to your OPERA “live” date, to avoid additional fees. The following information is needed in a timely manner:

• Bank name
• Bank contact and telephone number
• Credit card processor (i.e., Nabanco, CES, etc.)
• property Controller name and number

Note: An absolute minimum of twelve business days (after receipt of all necessary banking information by MerchantLink) is required to compile a “merchant file” for your property.
