Group Reservation Search
Group reservations are multi-room reservations associated with group profiles. To display a list of group bookings, select Reservations>Component Groups. The Group Reservation Search screen appears.
This screen allows you to display group profiles, access reservations associated with group bookings, and identify those group reservations having rooms attached.
Enter the following search options and select the Search button to locate group reservations.
Property. Available when the OPP MHOT Multi-property PMS add-on license is active. Select the down arrow to choose the property where you wish to search for group reservations.
Group. Enter the group name, or the first part of the group name, you wish to locate. Leave blank to search for all group reservations.
Select the Advanced button to display additional search criteria.
Company. Enter a company name or select the ellipsis button to search for a company. When a company is selected, OPERA will search for group reservations associated with that company.
Agent. Enter an agent name or select the ellipsis button to search for an agent. When an agent is selected, OPERA will search for group reservations associated with that agent.
Source. Enter a source name or select the ellipsis button to search for a source. When a source is selected, OPERA will search for group reservations associated with that source.
Block Code. Enter a block code. OPERA will search for group reservations associated with that block code.
The following information is shown in the search results grid. A cyan blue background indicates that the booking has rooms attached.
Group. Group name associated with a reservation.
Alt. Name. If the General>Extended Byte application parameter is set to Y, multiple-byte character sets may be used to enter names in languages that require extended-byte (for example, Chinese). If the profile includes a double-byte name, it appears in this field.
Address. Street address for the group profile.
City. City address for the group profile.
Edit. Display the group profile for the highlighted entry.
OK. Display the reservation(s) associated with the highlighted entry. If there are multiple reservations, the Component Groups Module screen appears allowing you to select the reservations you are interested in.
New. Create a new group profile. Information entered in the Group search criteria field auto-fills in the Group Profile screen Group Name field. (You may edit this information if you wish.)
