Configuration - Rooms (cf_rooms with GENREPPAR.FMX)

The Configuration report for Rooms will display all Rooms and corresponding information that has been configured in the application.

Rooms are configured in Configuration > Reservations > Rooms.

Note: The report shows Stayover Credits and Departure Credits if the ROOMS MANAGEMENT > HOUSEKEEPING CREDITS application setting is set to ROOM. Turndown (Y/N) is displayed if the ROOMS MANAGEMENT > TURNDOWN application function is set to Y.

Room Range

From Room. Single Select LOV to select the room number to begin the report results with.

To Room. Single Select LOV to select the room number to end the report results with.

Floors. Single Select LOV to select the floor to filter the report results.

Buildings. Single Select LOV to select the building to filter the report results.

Additional Information

1. The Stayover Credits and Departure Credits columns and their values display correctly when the ROOMS MANAGEMENT > HOUSEKEEPING CREDIT application setting is set to ROOM.

When the ROOMS MANAGEMENT > HOUSEKEEPING CREDIT application setting is not set to ROOM (i.e., it is set to NONE or FACILITY):

However, when the application setting is set to ROOM, the Pickup Credit and Turndown Credits columns are not displayed.

It will also be assumed that if the Pickup Credit and Turndown Credits fields do not contain a value on the Rooms - Edit screen (RMPDTL00), the value will display as a 0 on the report.

2. The Turndown column and its value (Y or N) are displayed when the ROOMS MANAGEMENT > TURNDOWN application function is set to Y.

When the Turndown checkbox is selected on the Rooms - Edit screen (RMPDTL00) for the room in question (e.g., 101), the report column displays 'Y'.

When the Turndown checkbox is not selected within the Rooms - Edit screen (RMPDTL00) for the room in question (i.e. 101), the report column displays 'N'.

When the ROOMS MANAGEMENT > TURNDOWN application function is set to N:

3. The Smoking, Connecting Suites and Turndown columns and their correct values (NS, 102 and Y) are all displayed per setup on the Rooms - Edit screen (RMPDTL00) for the room in question.

When the Smoking and Connecting Suites fields on the Rooms - Edit screen (RMPDTL00) of the room in question are not populated with a value, these report columns do not display a value.

When the Turndown checkbox is selected on the Rooms - Edit screen (RMPDTL00) for the room in question, the report column displays 'Y'.

When the Turndown checkbox is not selected on the Rooms - Edit screen (RMPDTL00) for the room in question, the report column displays 'N'.

When the ROOMS MANAGEMENT TURNDOWN application function is set to N:

Report Output

Room No. Assigned room number.

Room Type. Type of room.

Description. Full text description of the room type.

Room Class. Available when the GENERAL > ROOM CLASS application function is set to Y, the category or group to which the room type belongs.

Rate Code. Rate code assigned as the "standard" rate for this room.

Floor. The floor preference associated with the room that is used when the guest expresses a floor preference at the time a room is assigned.

Published Rate. Rate amount that is published. This column is only populated if you do not have a standard rate code for this room, or you want to use an amount that is different from the standard rate in order to calculate the rate variance.

Smoking. Smoking preference associated with the room that is used when the guest expresses a smoking preference at the time a room is assigned.

Max. Occ. Maximum number of people that, under normal occupancy conditions, can sleep in this room.

Phone Number. Phone number assigned to this room, if applicable.

Key Code. Displayed when a Key interface exists for the property, this displays the Door key code for this room, if applicable.

Meeting Room. Displays Y if the room can also be configured as a meeting room and displays N if it cannot.

Sequence. Display sequence number assigned to the room to control how the rooms are displayed when listed on room lookup screens.

Features. Displays the room feature preferences associated with this room.

Component Rooms. Available when the GENERAL > COMPONENT ROOMS application function to Y, displays the other room(s) number that make up the component room.

Connecting Suites. Available when the RESERVATIONS > CONNECTING ROOMS application parameter is set to Y, if two or more rooms are connected to make a suite, the other room(s) number is displayed.

Square Units. Displays the Room square- foot or square-meter area, if applicable.

Measurement. Room length and width, if applicable.

Day Section. Available if the ROOMS MANAGEMENT > HOUSEKEEPING SECTIONS application parameter is set to Y, displays the Day housekeeping section that this room is a part of.

Evening Section. Available if the ROOMS MANAGEMENT > HOUSEKEEPING SECTIONS application parameter is set to Y, displays the Evening housekeeping section that this room is a part of.

Turndown. Available if the ROOMS MANAGEMENT > TURNDOWN application function is set to Y, displays Y if turndown service is to be the default for this room and N if it is not.

Extensions. When the GENERAL > EXTENSIONS function is set to Y, displays any extensions that are attached to the room, if applicable.

Unit Grade. Available when the OPV_<version number> OPERA Vacation Ownership license is active and the OWNERSHIP > UNIT GRADE application parameter is set to Y, displays the Unit Grade Code that is assigned to the room/unit.
