Disabled Broadcast Setup

Use the Disabled Broadcast feature (Configuration>Profiles>External Interface>Disabled Broadcast) to prevent certain profile types from being broadcast to properties in a selected chain. This feature is available in PMS with a Multi-property add on license and in ORS when the OPR<ORS version number>license and OPI<OCIS version number>license codes are active. The profiles will still be broadcast to other properties outside the chain when the Broadcast Profile value is enabled in OXI_HUB>Interface Configuration>Interface Parameters>OXI_PROFILE, except for the profile type for the chain you select here. For example, it may not be desirable to have Travel Agent profiles downloaded to a certain chain.

Selection Criteria

Chain Code. Select the Chain Code you want to search for that has been configured for Disabled Broadcast.

Name type. Select the Name Type you want to search for that has been configured for Disabled Broadcast. Select View All for all profile types.

Grid

Chain Code. Chain Code identifying the chain that has been configured for Disabled Broadcast.

Chain Description. Description of the chain that has been configured for Disabled Broadcast.

Name Type. Profile Type that has been configured to have broadcast disabled.

Buttons

New. Displays the Disabled Broadcast by Chain and Name type - New screen. At this screen, select the Chain Code for the chain where you do not want the selected Name type (profile type) to be broadcast.

Delete. Highlight the chain and name type you want to remove from the Disabled Broadcast feature. If you want to edit an existing chain and name type combination, you will have to remove the old one (Delete) and create a new one (New).
