Description. Edit Externally Locked Blocks. Visible in an ORS/SFA environment or when the add-on licenses OPX_ORS OXI 2-Way Interface with Remote ORS and/or OPX_SFA OPERA Xchange 2-Way Interface for SFA Central System are active. When business blocks have been externally locked through the Centrally Controlled check box or Control LOV, users with this permission at the locked block (at the property or central level) can override the lock by double-clicking the View Only lamp. Users can then edit the business block header, Room Tab and room grid, and others. Fields that cannot be edited include Catering Tab information, Attendees, and Events. Once changes are saved, control returns to the external system.
