Map Sales & Catering Codes
The second step in the Sales & Catering Interface configuration is mapping the codes between Sales & Catering and OPERA. Sales & Catering should provide the installation team with documentation as to the mapping codes before this point so you can simply go ahead with the data entry. Open Configuration>External>Sales & Catering>Mapping>S&C Codes to display the S&C Codes Mapping screen. From this utility you can map new PMS to S&C code associations, Edit existing mapped codes or delete codes that are no longer needed or in use.
The S&C Codes Mapping screen displays the following information.
Property. When the OPP_MHOT PMS Multi-property add on license is active, select the down arrow to map codes for another property.
Record Type. Select the down arrow to map codes for the specific record types of Market, Source, Reservation Method, or Room Type.
PMS Code. The PMS code for the record type you want to map to S&C.
S&C Code. Choose a code for S&C record types that correlates to the PMS code you are mapping.
New. Select New to map codes from PMS to S&C.
Edit. Select Edit to change S&C mapped codes.
Delete. Select Delete to remove mapped codes from this list.
Close. Select Close to exit out of this utility.
