Multi-Language Descriptions

The multi-language descriptions feature is available in OPERA when the General>Profile Language application function is set to Y. With this feature, certain information on folios and elsewhere in OPERA will be displayed in the guest's language as identified on the guest's profile.

Where a piece of information is translatable, a globe icon appears next to its field in OPERA configuration. To add translations, press the globe icon to open the Multi-language Descriptions screen.

To edit a description in a specific language, highlight your choice and select the Edit button. The Multi-language Description  - Edit or Multi-language Description  - New screen appears. Provide the following information and select the OK button.

Language. Select the down arrow to choose the language code.

Language Description. This information is automatically displayed according to the Language Code selected.

Description. Using the specified language, enter the translated  description.
