Creating a Segment

1. Select Segmentation from the OCMM Home screen.
2. From the Segmentation screen, select the New button to launch the Segmentation Wizard.
3. For the Basic Info step, you will set up the basic information by entering a Code and Description for the Segment you will create.
4. Select the Next button.
5. For the Query step, you will configure a custom SQL query to the OPERA database.
   • Select the Query button.
   • Use the Query Builder to configure the SQL query statement to retrieve data from OPERA.
6. On the Query Builder, select the “Add Condition” button and expand the Memberships folder.
7. Under Membership, select Membership Level and select the Select button.
   • Enter “Gold” in the Value field and select Apply.
8. Select the Preview button to preview your sql query and select Save to save the query.
9. Select Next.
10. For the Schedule step, you will define when and how often the Segment will run.
    • Select the Schedule button.
    • Under Repeat, select Months, First, and Monday for the repeat interval.
11. Select OK.
12. Select Next.
13. For the Review step, verify that your Segment is configured correctly.

    Note: You can select the Previous button to return to previous steps and make changes.

14. Select the Save button to save the Segment.
