Future Transient Arrivals Forecast (orms_future_arr_forecast with GENREPPAR.FMX)
The Future Transient Arrivals Forecast report will display the ORMS forecasted numbers of arrivals by date and length of stay (LOS). The values displayed are forecasted values only and do not reflect actual reservations for the property. The Total Forecasted arrivals for the property with a breakdown per yield category also appear in the Forecasted Arrivals on the Forecast Analysis screen and on the Home screen (there may be a 1-2 day discrepancy between the graphs and this report due to rounding of percentages and figures within the system).
Arrival From. First Arrival Date for which the report should be generated.
Arrival To. Last Arrival Date for which the report should be generated.
Week Ended. Date of last day of the week for which the report was run.
Arrival Date. Arrival date(s) as selected in the Parameters.
LOS1. Number of 1 night Length of Stay reservation forecasted for the given date.
LOS2. Number of 2 nights Length of Stay reservation forecasted for the given date.
LOS3. Number of 3 nights Length of Stay reservation forecasted for the given date.
LOS4. Number of 4 nights Length of Stay reservation forecasted for the given date.
LOS5+. Number of 5+ nights Length of Stay reservation forecasted for the given date.
Note: Depending on the Opera database, it is possible that only LOS1 to LOS7+ get determined. The values on the report are dynamic.
Min Var. The minimum variance from the Forecasted number when taking all 4 Forecast models in consideration.
Max Var. The maximum variance from the Forecasted number when taking all 4 Forecast models in consideration.
Total. Sum of all LOS values, which will give the total number of all rooms that are forecasted for the given date.
At the end of the report a section displays with Totals for each of the above described fields.
