Overbooking
The Overbooking screen displays the number of actual and overbooking rooms for the house or for the room type for the dates selected during the Rate Query. The room type displayed reflects the type that is selected on the Rate Query Details screen, when the Overbooking button is selected.
The House Overbooking screen displays the following information.
Date. Displays the date, or dates, that were specified in the Rate Query.
Physical Inventory. Displays the actual number of physical rooms to sell.
Overbooking. Displays the number of rooms set for overbooking.
Still to Sell. Displays the number of rooms that are still available to be sold. This number is calculated by adding the Physical Inventory number and the Overbooking number. Generic Room Types are also taken into consideration to calculate this number.
The Room Type Overbooking screen displays the following information.
Date. Displays the date that was specified in the Rate Query.
Room Type. Displays the room type that is overbooked.
Overbooking. Displays the overbooked room number for the room type for the specified date.
