Reservation Booking Pace (reservation_pace with RES7.FMX)
The Reservation Booking Pace captures how many individual and block reservations were on the books on any specific day, and tracks booking trends to maximize revenues. For block reservations, this does not include block rooms when the block status is INQUIRY, REGRET and LOST.
Note: When the OPR <version number> ORS license code is active, the Select Property screen appears prior to the RES7.FMX screen. Choose the property you want to view and select the OK button. The RES7.FMX screen appears.
You will need to enter a compare date range and a stay date range. OPERA will store the number of reservations for each day, 14 months in the past and months in the future. Room Revenue will be displayed in local currency and will include any revenue posted that is marked as Lodging.
In order for Opera to store information to generate this report, the END OF DAY>RESERVATION PACE application parameter must be activated. The night audit procedures will then store the current number of reservations on the books for each day 14 months into the future. Therefore, this report is not going to be useful for comparison until a build of data or history has been done.
Enter a From and To Date that you would like to compare to each other. This will be displayed along the top of the report.
Compare From Date.
Minimum = Business Date - 14 Months.
Maximum = Business Date - 1 day.
Default = Business Date - 1 month.
Compare To Date.
Minimum = Compare Date Range From Date + 1 day.
Maximum = Business Date.
Default = Business Date.
Enter a From and To Date to include all reservations whose stay dates fall within the selected date range. This will be displayed as rows vertically down the report.
Stay From Date.
Minimum = Compare Date Range To Date.
Maximum = Compare Date Range From Date + 14 Months.
Default = Business Date.
Stay To Date.
Minimum = Compare Date Range To Date.
Maximum = Compare Date Range From Date + 14 Months.
Default = Business Date + 1 month - 1 day.
Deduct. When selected, the report will include all deduct reservations.
Non-Deduct. When selected, the report will include all non-deduct reservations.
Available. Number of Individual Rooms available for each of the dates selected for the Compare Date Range for the selected Stay Date Range.
Sold. Number of Individual Rooms available for each of the dates selected for the Compare Date Range for the selected Stay Date Range.
Var. The number difference between the Compare Date Range To Date and the Compare Date Range From Date for the selected Stay Date Range.
Net Room Revenue. Net Room Revenue for each of the dates selected for the Compare Date Range for the selected Stay Date Range.
Var. The number difference between the Compare Date Range To Date and the Compare Date Range From Date for the selected Stay Date Range.
Sold. Number of Block Rooms sold for each of the dates selected for the Compare Date Range for the selected Stay Date Range.
Var. The number difference between the Compare Date Range To Date and the Compare Date Range From Date for the selected Stay Date Range.
Net Room Revenue. Net Room Revenue of block rooms for each of the dates selected for the Compare Date Range for the selected Stay Date Range.
Variance. The number difference between the Compare Date Range To Date and the Compare Date Range From Date for the selected Stay Date Range.
