Sales Screen Function Buttons

On the left side of the screen beneath Property and or the chain affiliation logo, the Sales screen function buttons are displayed. Use the buttons sales screen function buttons to start the reservation flow (create a new reservation, start the Reservation Search screen where you can search for reservations for all properties linked to the Property, display the Snapshot Screen for the last completed reservation made by the logged in user, start the Define Search screen for a chain’s affiliated properties, return to the current Reservation Snapshot screen from the closing script screen without interrupting the reservation flow, end all reservations or actions, and record the date and the time for that call, and log the agent out of OPERA).

New creates a new reservation when no chains have been configured. If the central reservation office supports only one chain. New starts the Define Search screen and begins tracking the date and the beginning time of the reservation call.

Lookup starts the Define Search screen where you can search for reservations for all properties linked to the Property.

Lookup Last displays the Snapshot screen for the last completed reservation made by the logged in user. Lookup Last does not display on the Main screen until you receive a confirmation number.

Chain name buttons start the Define Search screen for this chain’s affiliated properties. A maximum of 10 chains can be displayed on the Main screen. If there are more than 10 chains defined, a scroll bar displays. OPERA begins tracking the date and the beginning time of the reservation call once you select Chain.

Reservation returns to the current reservation Snapshotscreen from the closing script screen without interrupting the reservation flow. Reservation is active and visible only after the reservation has been confirmed and while the Closing Script is visible.

End Call ends all reservations or actions and records the date and the time for that call. Exit logs you out of OPERA. Exit remains visible on the Main screen at all times.
