Description. During the block update delivery process to an external system, when the application parameter Blocks>Business Block Delivery History is active, the Delivery Elapse Time to Failure application setting is available. This setting determines the amount of minutes you consider acceptable to elapse from when the block update was made to the time the update message successfully reaches the external system. The default is 5 minutes, but depending on the amount of traffic on your system and if you know the average time it takes to transfer data to the external system, you may adjust the time accordingly. If the update message does not reach the external system within the time you have specified (either because it is still in the message queue or other reasons), the appropriate changelog record will be marked as 'non-success.'
