OBI INCR BUILD WAIT TIME

Group.  OBI

Type.  Settings

Application.

OBI

Description. The amount of time to wait (in minutes) after a successful Daily Build of cubes before the system submits an Incremental Build Job for properties who may have new datamart data and want to add that to their cubes. The OBI Incremental Build Job is a convenient process for multi-property environments whose properties are in different time zones and the datamart data gets refreshed at different times during the Night Audit. Users configure the OBI Incremental Build Job per cube and these jobs monitor the Daily Build job to see if it was successful and if any new data has been generated since the last successful Daily Build; then the process waits the selected amount of time indicated in this setting (i.e. 90 minutes) and submits the OBI Incremental Build Job. See BI Cube Maintenance for more information.
