Birth Country
For those PMS properties wishing to include the name of a birth country as part of the profile data, the Birth Country field may be screen painted on the Profile screen. To configure the list of available birth countries from which you may choose, select System Configuration>Profiles>Geographical Data>Custom>Birth Country. The Birth Countries screen appears.
This screen list the birth countries that have been set up for the property and allows you to configure new ones. The screen provides the following information.
Code. Code name of the birth country.
Description. Description of the birth country code.
Seq. Number that controls position of the code when displayed in lists.
To add a new birth country, select the New button from the Birth Countries screen. To edit an existing birth country, highlight your choice and select the Edit button. The Birth Country - New or Birth Country - Edit screen appears.
Provide the following information and select the OK button.
Code. Enter a code for the birth country.
Description. Enter a description of the birth country code.
Display Seq. Enter a number that controls position of the code when displayed in lists. Birth country codes that do not have a sequence number will be displayed in alphabetical order following those codes that have a sequence number assigned.
