Description. Activate Contact functionality in PMS and ORS. You can create profiles designated as official "contacts" for an account and link those profiles to the account's profile. The Contact profile is a starting point for accessing comprehensive information about the people you do business with. The Contact screen provides a window on Sales information and statistics, relationships, preferences, negotiated rates, and other details relevant to the client. The Contact screen also lets you set up and manage Activities related to the Contact, and create and edit Business Blocks for the Contact. The Contact may or may not be associated with an Account. A Contact who is not associated with an account is referred to as an Individual.
Property Determination. In PMS and ORS, Contact functionality is only available if this application function is active. If inactive, this application function hides the Contact functionality in PMS and ORS. Contact functionality in S&C and SFA is always available, no matter if this application function is active or inactive.
Activation / Inactivation Rules. |
Cannot inactivate function if contact profiles exist. They must be deleted ("Inactive" is not adequate). |
