Use the Reservations>Business Block>Edit>Resv.>Group Options>Delete group option instead of Cancel if you want a reservation to be removed from OPERA with no trace of the reservation activity. Highlight the record you would like to delete. If the highlight is on the group master record and you select Delete, OPERA prompts if you would like to delete the whole group reservation with the message Delete entire group. Do you want to continue? Yes/No. All reservations, including postmaster and individual reservations, are deleted. This includes Cancelled and No Show status reservations as long as those reservations do not have financial postings against them.
On all other records only the individual group reservation is deleted. If you want to delete an individual reservation, you can also use Delete in the Reservation Options menu. In-house guest records cannot be deleted.
