Memberships Property Groups

Membership property groups are "sets" of property codes that are treated as a unit. This is convenient when points calculations are based on the property which originated the business or when back to back stays are flagged for Membership Transaction Exceptions. (Property codes are assigned when properties are configured (Configuration> Property>Property Details).

To configure membership property groups, select Configuration>Profiles>Memberships>Property Groups. The Memberships Property Groups screen appears.

The Membership Property Groups screen shows the membership property groups that have been configured.

The Membership Property Groups screen provides the following information.

Group. The membership property group code.

Description. A short description of the membership property group.

Properties. The property codes that are included in the membership property group.

BTB. Indicates if back to back stays will be flagged for this group of properties if Membership Transaction Exceptions is activated. Y=Yes and N=No. The property group is selected for being flagged for back to back stays on the Membership Property Groups - New or Edit screen.

Seq. A sequence number that determines the position of this membership property code in lists of values.

To delete membership property group, highlight your choice and select the Delete button.

Creating and Editing Membership Property Groups

To create a new membership property group, select the New button. To edit an existing membership property group, highlight your choice on the Membership Property Groups screen and select the Edit button. The Membership Property Groups- New or the Membership Property Groups - Edit screen appears.

Provide the following information and select OK.

Group. The membership property group code. Each code must be unique.

Description. A short description of the membership property group. This description displays when searching for codes in the Membership Property Groups list of values.

Display Sequence. The display sequence number for this membership property group in LOVs. If no sequence number is assigned, the group will display in alphabetical order following any groups that have a display sequence number assigned.

Back to Back. Select this check box to indicate if the property group(s) will be flagged for back to back stays if Membership Transaction Exceptions is activated.

Properties. Select the down arrow to display the Property multi-select LOV. Choose the property codes you wish to include in this membership property group.
