Moving or Copying a Resource
It is possible to move or copy an existing resource between events. To move or copy a 1 or multiple resources, select the resource or resources on the Event Resources screen by clicking in the X column (Event Resources screen) and select the Move or Copy button. The Resource Move or Resource Copy screen displays. All of the selected resources will be moved or copied.
Important! When a Menu is copied from one Event to another, the Menu Attendees and INCLUDED Menu Item Attendees are populated based on the Attendees of the TARGET Event. If the Source and Target Event Attendees are the same, the Attendees for the Non-Included Menu Items are copied from the Source Menu. If the Source and Target Event Attendees are not the same, the Attendees for the Non-Included Menu Items are populated based on the Attendees of the Target Event.
All Events for the current business block will be displayed. Select one of these events or use the search filters to select an event belonging to a different business block.
Bus-Block. Select the down arrow to call the Business Block Search screen and select the business block that should receive the moved/copied resource.
Event Date. Type the event start date or use the Calendar button to search for the start date of the event that should receive the moved/copied resource. This field is only accessible if the Show All Events check box is not selected.
Event. Select the ellipsis to call the Event Search screen and select the event that should receive the moved/copied resource. This filter is only accessible if the Show All Events check box is NOT selected.
Event Type. Type the event type or select the ellipsis to filter by the event type that should receive the moved/copied resource. This filter is only accessible if the Show All Events check box is not selected.
Use the Search button to initiate the search and populate the Target Events grid on the lower part of the screen
Target Events. The display in this grid will show one record per event for the business block that has been selected in the Bus-Block filter above. The display shows the event start date, time, status and event name. If the event is a package event it is marked with an X in the P column.
Place an X in the X column for the event(s) to which the resources should be moved or copied. (The resource to copy is shown in the Resource Source field on the left-hand side of the screen.)
Note: If you are moving a resource, it may be moved to only one target event. If you are copying a resource, it may be copied to multiple events.
Use the Proceed button to perform the move or copy action.
