Manually Processing the Request Log

Note: This functionality is only available for Opera versions 5.0+.

If for any reason the request log did not record the message request automatically, select the Manual Request Log Process icon from the desktop where the Utility service is installed to process the request log manually. The Manual Process of Request log screen appears. The Manual Process of Request Log screen allows you to process all of the requests for a particular hour of the day, or send a summary of the requests for a particular day to the email address specified in the configuration settings.

The ManualRequestLog process for the Rollover process should be used as fail over mechanism in case OAP utility was not running and rollover did not happen on a daily basis. The existing Micros.Fidelio.ManualRequestLogProcess.exe is modified during a Manual Process of Request Log / Rollover process.

To process all of the requests for a particular hour of the day, select the date in the Date field and the hour in the Hour field in the Summary Log Insert Parameters area, then select the Process button. To send a summary of the requests to the email address specified in the configuration settings, enter the date in the Date field of the Summary Log Email Parameters area, then select the Send button.
