Delivery Retry Setup

When accessed from the OXI>Interface Configuration>Delivery Retry Setup menu option, this functionality allows a user to define the retry value for HTTP messages that fail to post because the server is unavailable.

Note: This functionality can be accessed (read-only) by a user with OXI permissions, but can only be edited by a user that has been granted with Supervisor Group permissions.

Note: This value defined here is not interface or property specific. The defined retry value will affect all OXI interfaces in that same OXI schema.

Enter the number of retries for outbound HTTP messages before failing. For the value that is entered, it will retry for delivery 1 time per minute, up to the number entered in this field. For example, if 600 were set for this value, then outbound messages that cannot be posted over HTTP/S would be attempted 1 time every minute until 600 minutes (600 retries) has been reached. If the message is successfully posted at any time during the retry attempts, then retrying of that message will be stopped and OXI will move on to the next message in the outbound queue. If the message was not successfully posted when this value has been reached, then it will fail and OXI will move on to the next message in the outbound queue.

Note: The value defined in this field cannot be less than 5.
