Description. Profile Notifications Management.

Internal Name. PROFILE_NOTIFICATIONS

Property Determination. Activation of this application function enables a property to attach configurable messages to specific guest profiles in order for a property user to complete a specific task for that guest profile. Based on the areas that the notifications are setup for, the Profile Notification screen is automatically displayed to the user to complete a task or tasks. For example, if a guest had a bad experience on their previous stay and they are supposed to receive some sort of compensation on their next stay, then this could be attached to the guest profile.

CHECK IN: The Notification will pop up when selecting the Check In button for the reservation made with a profile that has a Notification attached.

CHECK OUT: The Notification will pop up when the Billing screen is accessed for this reservation (Cashiering – Billing). This happens even if this is not the Departure date.

NOTE: The Notification will not pop up anywhere. It will only display in the Notification area and can be accessed via Profile – Edit – Options - Notifications

PROFILE: The Notification will pop up when the profile accessed for editing.

RESERVATION: The Notification will pop up when a new Reservation is made with the profile (when accessing the Reservation screen) or when an existing Reservation is edited.
